When I was young, young boy, I thought Gallagher’s act was just about the highest form of comedy. I mean, what could be funnier than smashing fruit with a sledge hammer?
I didn’t realize the guy is still touring, though these days he’s playing somewhat smaller venues. And last night, TMZ reports, he suffered a heart attack before he was about to go on stage at Coach Joe’s Hat Tricks in Lewisville.
Since the incident reportedly took place off-stage, TMZ hasn’t been able to get its hands on any cell-phone video showing exactly what happened, as they were last year when Gallagher collapses onstage during a show in Minnesota:
