Tracy Achor Hayes Gets a Job at Neiman Marcus

|

Remember back in August when we learned that Neiman Marcus was revamping The Book, turning it into more of an editorial product? Of course you remember. Now comes news that Neiman’s has found the woman to helm the ship. It is none other than Tracy Achor Hayes, formerly the editor in chief of FD Luxe. Hayes told me last night at a fundraiser for the Dallas Center for Architecture that after working for 30 years at the Dallas Morning News, she never could have left to work for a competitor. Sounds like she found the perfect gig. From what I understand, she’ll have a healthy budget with which she’ll be able to attract national writers.
