Mark Stroman Executed For Killing Store Clerk. The case took a strange turn at the end, with one of Stroman’s surviving victims suing to try to stop the execution from happening, but Stroman was pronounced dead at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday night.

Northwest Highway Church Allegedly Actually a Dance Club. Or, as this story refers to it numerous times, a “rave club,” which — look, maybe that’s technically accurate (it’s not, I don’t think), but it makes the reporter sound so old. “Rave club.” It’s like a forgotten plotline from one of ABC’s TGIF block of sitcoms, where one of the parents has to infiltrate the rave club where all the kids are hanging out, and so the parents dresses up in these cuh-razy clothes and maybe even does an accent or something. I don’t know. Anyway — a rave club instead of a church. How about that?
