Does Price Probe Involve Hillwood vs. Allen Battle?

|

A pay-walled story in today’s DMN reveals that Ross Perot Jr.’s Hillwood development company has been pulled now into the John Wiley Price investigation, likely in connection with Hillwood’s AllianceTexas project in Fort Worth. The Cowtown project’s huge Global Logistics Hub competes for business directly against The Allen Group’s fledgling Dallas Logistics Hub in southern Dallas County.

As Tim has pointed out, the Observer‘s Jim Schutze has done great work explaining exactly how a Price-connected group allegedly sought to snag a piece of the Allen Group action. And, here’s a 2009 article titled “Cargo Wars” from D CEO that laid out the context–and what’s at stake–in the “fierce” battle for business between Allen and Hillwood.
