Beach Party at White Rock Lake

|

This weekend, to cap off the lake’s centennial, there will be a beach party at White Rock Lake. Thing is, volunteers are needed. Jump for details.

The Beach Party of the Century only three days away and we urgently need your help especially on Sunday. The Beach Party caps off the Centennial Celebration of our beloved White Rock Lake. The event is Saturday and Sunday June 25th and 26th from 10 am – 10 pm on Saturday and 10 am – 4 pm on Sunday. We need volunteers to help with:

Greeting guests

Assisting arriving and departing guests to board the shuttle buses

Directing traffic in the parking lots at White Rock Station, Norbuck Park, and Flag Pole Hill

Driving people from the shuttle to the entrance (golf carts provided)

Checking in and securing bikes for those who arrive by bicycle

Assisting with children’s games and activities

Checking in volunteers and directing them to assignments

Working sanitation detail (not glamorous but necessary!)

If you can help, please contact Liz Griffin ([email protected]), our Volunteer Coordinator. Provide your name, contact information, and day and time you can volunteer.

All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, admission for themselves and a guest, a hot dog, and a non-alcoholic beverage.
