I’m glad someone took the time to make a film about that day. Some took notice, but not many. It’s interest and initiative that have always made this city great, and they will again.

It’s so ironic to me that, unfortunately, Dallas’ phenomenal architecture cannot by itself create energy. We seek the best architects and engineers to build visionary (and costly) structures to make our city look impressive from a distance. But do we stop to consider what activity is likely to take place up close – in around those buildings?

If anyone’s listening, may I request that question be added to the considerations for the next major city landmark?
