FrontBurner Live FAQ

|

Bethany sent me the following note:

I’m being inundated with e-mails about various and sundry things involving tonight. The big ones are: 1. Dress code. I told them you said tube tops, mini skirts, and fishnets for everyone. 2. They RSVP’d, but need to know if they are supposed to have some kind of hard ticket. I said no, but they do need a high tolerance for hard liquor.

But needless to say, I’m just making stuff up. So maybe there needs to be some kind of FAQ post? I dunno.

Best Waffles,

Okay, yes, a FAQ for the feckless FrontBurnervian:

What should I wear? Whatever you feel comfortable in — as long as it makes you look smokin hot. Zac and I are emceeing the festivities. We are going with what Zac calls “the mullet of outfits.” Jeans on the bottom, sports coat on top. Under those coats, you will most likely see these t-shirts. (Can you tell I’ve been working out?) You can buy one for $15. All proceeds will be donated to the Notre Dame School.

I RSVP’d. Do I need some sort of ticket? No. Your name will be on a list. (But some of you do have digital tickets. If you want to show off at the door by brandishing your phone with the ticket on your screen, that’s fine.)

How about parking? There will be a free valet. We ask you to tip. If you don’t want to mess with a valet line, there is paid parking in the lot behind Snuffer’s.

I’m not someone who can just roll with it. I need to know the exact schedule of the evening’s program. Dude, seriously, you need to relax a little. And, besides, that’s not even a question.

What’s the schedule of the program tonight? Food will be served from 7 to 8. Seryn goes on at 8. Telegraph Canyon takes the stage at 8:45.

I don’t drink vodka. What are my options? You should try the free Kru 82. Maybe it’ll change your vodka policy. But otherwise you can a) remain sober or b) purchase other adult beverages served by the friendly Granada staff.

What if I’ve made arrangements to cab home so that I can over-serve myself and drop my pants? Kudos! We’ll have pictures up on FrontBurner Friday morning.

Will Eric Celeste be there? Despite our advice to him that it would be better for everyone involved if he did the right thing and stayed home, yes, it appears Eric Celeste will be in attendance.
