We’re nearing the last of the Christmas ties of Jerry Merwin, who we explained is the security manager at St. Paul Place in downtown Dallas. Jerry says he received the tie at right as a gift about three years ago. He doesn’t recall who gave it to him, though. But he does remember one woman looking at it and saying, “I like your trees!” She offered a nearly identical blunt compliment about the round-ornament tie we showed you on Monday; her last word in that compliment had five letters and started with a “b” and ended with an “s.” But Jerry didn’t think repeating it was suitable for a family blog.
