I know you all already know this (because who can’t go a week without watching Tyra Banks be fierce and tell people to smile with their eyes?), but Dallas’ native Ann won season 52 of America’s Next Top Model. I can’t tell you anything about it because I only watched the last 10 minutes, but I do know this: Ann’s story is the ever-lovable ugly duckling turns into a swan and wins a reality TV show and gets in Italian Vogue.

2. I know what I want for Christmas.

3. Speaking of Christmas, here’s a heartwarming holiday story. Mary Potter’s house was broken into Tuesday. The robbers stole an urn, which contains her mom’s ashes. And, for the heartwarming part, I’ll just let Mary tell you. “I got up at 4:30 to let the dog out and I saw something against my gate. I let out a scream that Mamma’s back! It was like Christmas day. I was so glad to get it and I opened it up to see if she was still in it and she was.”
