Delta 191 – 25 Years Ago Today

|

It was 25 years ago this afternoon that I was strolling through NorthPark trying to kill time before heading to the airport to pick up my then-husband. As I passed by a window with a television, I saw breaking news that a plane had gone down at “the Dallas airport.” I was halfway to the airport before I heard on the car radio that the plane had gone down at DFW International. My husband was landing at Love Field.

What an incredible tragedy Delta Flight 191 was and what amazing heroes emerged from the crisis.
