Jennifer and John Eagle with Sarah Ferguson IMG_8386_aWednesday night Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson (right, pictured with Jennifer and John Eagle) was the drop-in guest of honor at the patrons party in downtown Neiman’s for the Dallas Museum of Art’s upcoming Arts Ball. She worked the room better than any politician in memory. Everyone from shop girl to CEO was an old friend by the end of her brief visit.

When asked if she had offered any advice for “Kate,” Sarah answered with a question. . . “Who?”  Sarah Ferguson IMG_8391Hello, Sarah (pictured)? Don’t you read the Daily Mail? You know, Kate as in Kate Middleton, the odds-on favorite to wed Prince William. Sarah shook it off with, “I love the family. Wouldn’t think of offering advice.”

We persisted, “What if Kate were to ask you for advice about joining the household?”

She smiled and finally said, “I’d tell her to lead with her heart.”
