Wolfgang Puck is a Weather Wimp

As they are evacuating opening night of his new Reunion Tower eatery as I type. Whatever. This is nothing. The Memorial Day flood of ’86 in Tulsa … Now that was a weather event.

Actually bro’, it was in 1984 when the big flood hit, when we had to have the couple below us climb up to our balcony until the water went down. Good times, eh?

I’m betting Puck wasn’t the one to give the go ahead on evacuation. I can’t imagine him letting a little rain affect his opening night.

In 93 we were at Antares for Mother’s Day when tornadoes hit Wylie. No evacuation and it was both amazing and terrifying to have that view of a weather system.

Any Memorial Day in Tulsa has a weather event.

no one evacuated, the party was almost over anyways people started to leave for their own reasons. it was only supposed to go until 10pm … as a matter of fact they started really shutting it downa because were finishing cleaning at around 1:00 a.m. and wolfgang puck still had a party of about 15 people still in the restaurant until 2:30 a.m.
