Four Dallas Schools Nominated for Blue Ribbon Award

In the special edition we just did on DISD, I wrote about my family’s decision to send our boy to our neighborhood school, Hexter Elementary. The short version of the story: we’ve been very pleased with our decision. And today that pleasedness becomes even more pleasurable, as I’ve learned that Hexter is among the four Dallas schools nominated for the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award. The others are: George Bannerman Dealey International Academy, George Peabody Elementary School, and the School of Health Professions.
