Deep Ellum Was On Fire. In The Bad Way.

A couple of window-having FrontBurnervians report Deep Ellum was on fire. It went out about 20 minutes ago. No word on cause, location, damages … anything really. But there’s a picture.

It was on the other side of 30.

    For future reference:

That gives you the address of any call the Dallas fire rescue is currently responding to.

Slightly off topic: Who is behind all the mystery arson fires in Oak Cliff? Last week or two there have been over a dozen fires within about 4-5 blocks of Greiner. Kind of peeked my curiosity as to if they think a kid might be behind it.

    You meant “piqued,” Bill.

@ MushMouth….when they catch ’em, they’ll need to smack that b&*$h up!

  7. Bill- When we had an arsonist going around Oak Lawn some years ago they arrested a homeless man for it and the fires stopped — but none of that explained why Kinko’s security camera captured two kids running as fast as they could with a thing of gasoline in their hands…so hey, maybe they were smart, laid low and moved over there. Advice? Paint your wooden fences with fire-resistant paint and be kind to your night-owl neighbors, as it was the late-nighters who warned people quickly and called 911 in our neighborhood!
