The Dallas Video Festival is one of those festivals that people like me take for granted. I don’t go every year, but whenever I do attend I tell myself I should attend more often. The vids are cool, entertaining, and thought-provoking, much like the Video Fest’s founder Bart Weiss. Here’s the full schedule, but the highlights for me are tonight’s Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation, a shot-for-shot remake by a couple of pre-teen fans which you may have read about in this excellent Vanity Fair article; and Saturday Night Live’s Mr. Bill: Oh Nooooo!!!, on Saturday, with creator Walter Williams in attendance.
