Random Bit Of Regional Trivia: Leonard’s Dept. Store’s Escalator

While working on an online project (honest), I stumbled across a deliciously obscure bit of knowledge: The escalator at Leonard’s Department Store in Fort Worth was the first one south of the Mason-Dixon Line. It’s true. You can even see bits of it at the Leonards Department Store Museum.
