Novelist Brad Meltzer At Borders Tonight

|

(Alt. Headline: No. 347 in a Series of Screw-Ups By Zachary L. Crain)

Brad Meltzer, author of a number of best-selling thrillers as well as engrossing arcs on comics such as Justice League of America and Green Arrow, is in town tonight, meeting and greeting at the Borders in Preston Royal at 7 p.m. He’s got a new novel out, The Book of Lies, which I would consider his best yet, a much, much better-written version of The Da Vinci Code woven through with an extremely personal father-son story that is actually more grabbing than the mystery at the heart of the plot.

I discussed this and plenty more with Brad a couple of weeks ago. Due to a gigantic failing on my part–for some reason, his appearance was marked on my calendar as Sept. 22–that interview is still on my tape recorder. Fortunately, Big Bob has his own Q&A over at Unfair Park. So, check that out, then check Brad out at Borders tonight. And buy the book, because it’s absolutely worth a read.
