Fox’s Prison Break Has Left North Texas, But the Concept, Apparently, Has Not

Three inmates, including one with a homemade weapon, were injured this morning trying to bust out of the Tarrant County Jail. Fear not, they didn’t get very far:

“The degree of their injuries is really unknown at this time but the three inmates never were in any proximity to leave the facility,” spokesman Terry Grisham said. “They never left the floor it actually occurred on.”

These weren’t the sort of bad-guys-you’re-rooting-for-because-they-were-wrongly-accused and/or guys-trying-to-get-someone-wrongly-accused-out-of-the-the-joint either. Erick “Truman” Davila is charged with three murders (two coming when he allegedly shot up a kid’s birthday party); James Dwayne Edwards was in for aggravated robbery and evading arrest; and Herschel Jerome Hurd was also in for aggravated robbery, as well as unlawful possession of a firearm. No word, yet, if any of the trio had the plans to the jail hidden among intricate, arcane tattoos that covered his torso.
