DART Train 1, Expensive Car 0

A picture-taking FrontBurnervian passes along yet another piece of photo evidence for something that should be obvious to anyone who has not watched an episode of Dukes of Hazzard: You shouldn’t try to outrun the train. There’s another photo after the jump.

someone better call “The Texas Hammer”!!!

  3. Josh Pearson says:

I almost got clipped by the trolley turning from McKinney onto Blackburn the other day. This big city just isn’t safe anymore.

  4. Trey Garrison says:

“someone better call “The Texas Hammer”!!!”

I think he’s still in traction.

  5. Josh Pearson says:

Judging from the angle of that last pic, when did Matthew Shelley start taking photos of car accidents?

  6. Looks like my landlord’s car. And if that is indeed the case, then it’s hopefully a bit of karmic kickback for all the code violations in my building. Bastard.

  7. Tom says:

This car appears to be a Pontiac, but alas, it’s not the Pontiac of Justice.

  8. John M says:

It’s a Pontiac Solstice, hardly an expensive car, they start at $22k. Personally I think they are hideous and cheap looking.

  9. amandacobra says:

It is indeed a Pontiac. But as you may remember, the Pontiac of Justice was a four door sedan not a two door convertible sports coupe. This looks to be simply a basic model Pontiac Solstice of Poor Spacial Judgment.

  10. amandacobra says:

    @ John M

I owe you a coke. Perhaps two for being able to call out a cheap trashy American sports car too.

  11. Spamboy says:

Hopefully they can salvage the Liquorice Dome attached to the roof. Party on!

  12. Wylie H. says:

Speaking of the Pontiac of Justice, did Gatlin ever get charged? I can’t find his case listed on the Collin County Criminal Court website.

  13. Uptown Nervous says:

As I rule, I don’t drive on or close to the trolley tracks in Uptown. I’ve seen too many crumpled fenders.

  14. Games Car says:

What Kinda of Car do you drive?
