A Bit of Bellagio Finds Its Way to Fair Park

KERA’s BJ Austin takes a tour of Fair Park with general manager Daniel Huerta, wherein the latter tells the former of the plans for Fair Park during non-State Fair of Texas times. Sure, there’s the added seats to the Cotton Bowl in anticipation of big football games and international futbol games. There’s also plans to Six Flags-ify the park with a gated, themed Midway set to open May 1, 2010. But the news that caught my eye was the redo of the fountains. Huerta says they brought in the same company that did the water feature in front of my beloved Bellagio. Nessun Dorma + Bellagio fountains x (Bad run of cards – sleep) = Single-Tear Adam.
