Sam Alipour is a writer for ESPN.com’s Page 2. He was covering the non-event known as the ESPYs. He had just gotten out of his cab when he was hit by another car. That’s when No. 81 arrived on the scene:
Terrell Owens was standing over me. I’m told he was the first do-gooder on the scene of the accident. That he helped me to my feet and off the street to safe ground. That he didn’t leave my side.
Problem was, Alipour was flung into the car’s windshield with such fury that everyone, T.O. included, looked scared for the writer’s life. Which just scared Alipour more. Good story. Read it here.
