I’ve seen this kind of storm before. Its the only tropical storm that works 9-5.

  3. Bethany says:

With a Tropical Storm Cristobal and a Tropical Storm Dolly, there’s a dandy dirty joke in there somewhere.

I’m sure the people down there would love the rain. It’s been dry down there this year.

Probably the best chance this year to observe mammatus clouds.

What? It’s real. Look it up pervert.

Mammatus Clouds – Rounded, smooth, sack-like protrusions hanging from the underside of a cloud (usually a thunderstorm anvil). Mammatus clouds often accompany severe thunderstorms, but do not produce severe weather; they may accompany non-severe storms as well.

Just spoke to my Aunt and Uncle who have lived (beautifully) on SPI for the better part of 15 years – they are packing and preparing… they have quite a routine.

PS: anyone interested in buying a gorgeous home on the beach? I mean after the hurricane passes…they need to move back here to be closer to family.

  7. the cynic says:

Wick, how long have you lived in Texas? You do know all the jokes about Texas weathermen, right? You really expect a hurricane to follow the path they’ve drawn?
