Dallas Hosts Chinese Horticultural Delegation

(Alternate headline: Husband Does Wife’s Job)

Since you guys obviously follow these things, you know that Youming Cai of the Shanghai Landscaping Administration Bureau and Yonghong Hu of the Shanghai Botanic Garden were in Dallas today. While here, they visited with folks at the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Horticulture Division; Dallas County Master Gardeners; North Haven Gardens; Dallas Arboretum; Dallas Parks and Recreation Department; Texas Discovery Gardens; and the Trinity River Audubon Center. Here they are at North Haven, with owner Jon Pinkus.

Really? Horicultural? I’m sure they love that.

I would so be there if it were the Chinese Whore Cultural delegation. This looks kinda boring though.

Good. Hope they enjoy the visit. Now, can they please take the Chinese Tallow, Chinese Elm, Chinese privet, Chinaberry, Nandina, etc., back home with them? Maybe they can drop off Kudzu in Japan on their way.

Of course I know they didn’t introduce them, I just hate invasive species…so pardon the rant.

Rant excused. And I agree for the most part. Dealing with a couple pesky suckers in the backyard.
