    Good to know the North Dallas properties are holding their value.

  2. …except either the DMN or the data source (NTREIS?) keeps using that stupid map that shows South Dallas being south of Oak Cliff. And then it lumps South Dallas into East Dallas.

    Zip codes might be a better gauge.

    And Oaklawn includes Uptown, which sold only 35 properties during the first half of 08? I know things are slow, but does that seem too low? Maybe I’m reading it wrong …

    Strange how MLS districts are constructed. East Dallas is Area 12 and includes traditional South Dallas along with Parkdale, Urbandale and the entrance to Pleasant Grove. Always more than 1,000 sales.
