This time for the D Home team, which just won a national award for intergalactic goodness. The full release after the jump:

D Home Magazine Selected As Recipient of Association Excellence Award for Its 2006 Parade of Homesâ„¢ Event Magazine

After comparing Parade magazines from across the country, D Home Magazine is selected as the recipient for the Association Excellent Award (AEA) for its design and execution of the special event publication for the 2006 Parade of Homesâ„¢.

The AEA is an annual program designed to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of state and local Home Builders Associations (HBAs) and executive officers in the field of association management.  The association awards offer a wide variety of category choices for all HBAs to enter.  Because the categories are divided by association size, all associations have equal opportunity to be recognized for their achievements.

  • 250 or less members
  • 251 – 500 members
  • 501 – 750 members
  • 751 – 1000 members
  • 1000+ members
  • State Association – any size

“D Home has put out a remarkable product in our Parade magazines,” said Bob Morris, CAPS.  “The AEA is evidence that not only is the publisher an industry leader, but an organization with a genuine understanding of our brand and target audience. With D Home’s strong marketing ability and creative savvy, the Parade of Homes will continue raising the bar in its special event publications.”

Announcements of the 2006 AEA winners were made during the EOC Seminar in Long Beach, California. Association entries were displayed in the Resource Area onsite and winners were announced during two General Sessions, the Election Breakfast and the Sponsorship Luncheon. Additionally, on the evening of Thursday, August 9, 2007, the Individual Association winners were announced at a formal evening program where they receive recognition from their peers and plaques commemorating their achievement.
