Where You Should Be Tonight

|

Fans of local music have had tonight circled on their calendars for weeks, because tonight is the whizzbang 2007 Dallas Observer Music Awards at the Granada Theater. Sure, you can find out who wins Best New Act and other curious accolades, but the real treat is the performance by Reunion Tower Revue. R&B legend Bobby Patterson fronts a bunch of Dallas’ best musicians, including my friend and show organizer Don Cento of Shibboleth. A similar show happened late last year, and it was Awe-Some. Tonight should be even better. Big Bob has been hyping the festivities for a while now. I hereby grant you permission to believe said hype.
