And I don’t blame her. There are times when I realize that a quarter of my work life has become chasing down rumors, which makes it difficult to shave for fear I’ll pull an Owen Wilson. Over the weekend word came that former CBS 11 reporter Sarah Dodd and her mister, aka Dallas Police Chief David Kunkle, were up and moving to Houston. Then it became that the two were separating, and she was taking a job in Houston. Either way, juicy stuff. But the reality is nothing so salacious. Sarah says she’s studying for the LSAT and planning to enroll at SMU next fall. And yes, she’s heard the rumor about her taking a job. Houston was a first. She usually hears Austin or Atlanta. Anyway, she says she’s really out of the news game. (Realizing I’m actually taking five minutes to write this and it’s part of my job, I sympathize. Back to cutting on myself.)
