I vaguely remember sitting through the council session about a year ago when the property was discussed. The mayor was pretty skeptical of the financials considering the man behind it had taken a long time to put the money together for the deal — missing a key deadline by something on the order of six months. Miller went so far as to ask for a bio on the chef for Luqa and the background on the art gallery that was promised. In hindsight, looks like she called that one. As for what that brings the former mayor’s score card to, I decline comment.
