A hedge-funding FBvian points us to the New York Post story. In question is how HFV got the New York state pension fund to invest $100 million in its fund. (Side question: how is Hunt Financial Ventures related to Hunt Ventures?)

Update: Another hedge-funding FBvian tells us that Hunt Ventures is not related to HFV. Ventures is Ray Hunt’s company. HFV is the Lamar Hunt family, controlled by heir and son Clark Hunt.
