Coincidentally, I Watched The Longest Yard Last Night

|

Jerry Jones is mentioned in this story as the type of owner who might be willing to take a chance on Michael Vick when he gets out of the joint for doing unspeakable things to dogs. Me? I don’t really see it. I know Jones has taken a chance or two over the years, including believing that anyone can wear coaching shorts, but I don’t think he’d bring Vick to Dallas. Especially since he’s got that new stadium to fill. (Oh, you hadn’t heard? The Cowboys are building a new stadium in Arlington. No, seriously.)

The way I see it, Vick has only one real option if he wants to play ball in America again: the UFL, the outlaw league that Mark Cuban is involved in. I’m not saying Cuban will sign him to his team, but I bet someone will. And that might be enough star power/controversy to get that league off the ground.
