I was on the White Elephant (Fort Worth stockyards) patio last summer when a possum crawled out from under the building. The band was good, but we had a lot more fun trying to catch the possum. That’s just how country boys do.
And country girls. My wife, raised Inola-proud, grew up with the following as pets: a horse, a cow, a raccoon, a snake, six goats, multiple chickens, and a bobcat. Not at the same time, of course. That would be silly.
