Hopefully by now you’ve seen D’s August cover, graced by the face of the beautiful (if not exactly forthcoming) LeAnn Rimes. There were a few more details from the photo shoot in New York that I wanted to include in the text, but there wasn’t enough space. Also, boys don’t really care about things like “what she wore” and “what she ate” as much as us girls.
Follow the jump for LeAnn’s culinary demands, what she wore to the shoot, and more pictures.
LeAnn wore a beige button-down dress from Isabel Marant dress, and Lanvin flats, which she said she’s obsessed with. Very casual. No makeup, and her hair was pulled up in a half-pony, half-bun combo.
As for food, she had very specific demands: Organic grilled chicken, Ezekial bread, vegetables, fruit, raw almonds, couscous salad, and room temperature Fiji Water. (Don’t knock it: Apparently eating this way=skinniness). We got all these things from Whole Foods. Although she and Dean had just come from lunch at the Soho House, she still picked at chicken and salad throughout the day.
In a very strange move, a member of LeAnn’s entourage ended up taking all the extra food and bottles of Fiji water home with him in his bag. This was not someone who had been with us on set all day, but rather, a friend of one of those people. Kristen and I couldn’t believe our eyes, but yes, he shoved approx 15 liter-sized bottles in his bag. He also took all the leftover chicken, bread, salad–anything he could get his hands on. We thought this was beyond weird, but maybe it’s standard procedure for celebrity photo shoots? LeAnn had nothing to do with it, but maybe “friends” of celebs feel like they are entitled to take leftovers. Ick.
We listened to techno/house/tribal music all day. LeAnn did not want to plug in her iPod.
