That’s the question I have after reading about the possible merger of Hughes & Luce with a New York firm. In talking with some name partners of area firms earlier this year, they each talked about the need to grow their firms internationally, as more and more cases cross state and country borders. But I’d like you Esquire-y FBvians to tell me whether or not a firm risks becoming too big to be effective. Or is it just necessary in these topsy-turvy times? Discuss.
