Disturbing news here at FrontBurner. Tim, Eric, and I are all AT&T/Cingular customers. Eric has an iPhone; Tim and I have trusty Nokias (or is the plural of Nokia “Nokia”?). Trouble is, none of them are working. When we make a call, the other person can’t hear us. And we can’t really hear them. Every now and then, we’ll hear ourselves in a weird echo effect. We’ve determined, through nothing but speculation and apocryphal reasoning, that the iPhone is monkeying with the network. We don’t even know if such a thing is possible, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t.
