RE: IPHONE IFANATICS

By Stacey Yervasi |

A cell-phone-industry-working FBvian sends an insidery dispatch (jump, please) about the particulars of Apple’s new cash cow. I don’t have any idea what most of it means, but it’s not going to matter much to these people, this guy, or that girl.

I hope people are happy spending over $500 for some of these screwups from Cingular. The mobile version of OSX or whatever it is the iPhone runs takes up 700 MB of the devices capacity. There is no way to cut, copy, or paste text! Damn, big, big mistake. No a2dp support. Music can not be used as a ringtone….even if it is just a raw MP3. Sorry for ya. Adobe Flash support is officially out. It’s just not in the browser. Neither is there any other kind of embedded video support.  Can we say software problems? NO video, just snaps….I would rather have a krzr.No mms. and no voice dialing. Cantact groups can not be emailed as contact lists. iPhone will lose battery capacity…you will send it in and then get the cell replaced for a fee.  Yes, there will be a fee charged for a defect they already know is on the market. Voice quality is said to be on a phone this new. You will be amazed to hear how poor voice quality really is. All of this in a great phone for the low low price of $500 – $600…..I think I will pass on this one and use my krazer.
