Alo, the newest member of the La Duni family, is set to open in the old Vermilion space off Knox-Henderson. Food? Contemporary street food from Mexico and Peru. Head chef? Julia Lopez (yes Timmy she is smokin’ hot), a graduate of El Centro Community College Culinary Arts Program who became the top saucier at the Mansion under King Dean. Yesterday someone asked me why there was no “street food” in Dallas. Poof, now we do. Well sorta.
