LA DUNI FOLKS TO OPEN NEW RESTAURANT WE’RE CERTAIN TO BECOME OBSESSED WITH

|

Word from Martha Tiller HQ: The Borja family, best known for the fabulous Latin La Duni restaurants, will open Aló Cenaduria & Piqueos in Knox Plaza at Central Expressway and Knox (formerly Vermilion restaurant), this July.

Aló will feature street foods mainly from Mexico and Peru, specifically Chihuahua, Mexico, and Lima, Peru. Think Peruvian Saltados and Ajis (Peruvian stir-fries and rice), Tacu Tacu (Peruvian rice and bean patty with choice of toppings), and a few other things with cool names like gringas with Menonita cheese and lobster volcanoes. Since the Borja’s are behind it, also expect plenty of heavenly desserts like a roasted banana cake with chocolate truffle.
