GOLD-DIGGING IN DALLAS

By Tim Rogers |

Okay, we need intel on J.C. Conklin. She’s the former WSJer and DMNer who wrote the new novel The Dallas Women’s Guide to Gold-Digging With Pride. This Houston Chronicle story says of Conklin’s time in Dallas:

The women she met weren’t hunting for just any husband, but the super-rich variety. To that end, they underwent plastic surgery, starved themselves, bought clothes they couldn’t afford and even popped pain killers so they could sleep with guys they found revolting. (Sexy and rich is not that common a combination, Conklin’s characters lament.)

I’m looking for someone who worked with Conklin and who might give us some insight into her — um — character. Anyone?
