WOOT DOESN’T GIVE A HOOT

So, there’s this secret AACS code that unlocks the anti-copying software on new HD DVDs. Supposedly, it’s illegal to have or distribute the code. But that didn’t stop Wired from having a Photoshop-a-thon with it. And it certainly didn’t stop our favorite local e-tailer Woot–you know, the one day, one item people–from incorporating the code into a catchy tune. Great. Now I’m going to be singing, “09-F9-11-02 …” in my head all day. (Thanks Boing Boing.)
