That could be why it took several furtive glances to determine that it was indeed Emmitt Smith standing nearby, waiting for his luggage at Baggage Claim 29 at DFW yesterday evening. He was wearing khaki shorts, an orange plaid shirt, brown sandals, headphones, and a cell phone glued to his ear. I only saw one person come up and whip him with recognition. Everyone else seemed oblivious.
