NEW TAPAS AT STEPHAN PYLES

|

Last Wednesday I was invited to the SOS Taste of the Nation kick-off event at Stephan Pyles. In addition to learning all about the wonderful event (thanks Gary!), my friend and I also got to try a few tapas that are new to the SP menu.

These included merguez sausage with Riata sauce, smoked tenderloin and heirloom tomato pizza, stuffed clams with meyer lemon crema, and our favorite: llapingacho with duck confit (basically a small potato pancake topped with duck confit). The Taste of the Nation is being held on June 3 this year at Park Place Motorcars, and 100% of the proceeds go to the North Texas Wilkinson Center and North Texas Food Bank. Chef Pyles will host, and food from over 25 Dallas restaurants will be served, along with much, much more. For tickets and info, click here. For new tapas, go here.
