LAURA MILLER’S OFFICIAL (AND UNOFFICIAL) STATEMENT ON SUPER BOWL BID

By Tim Rogers |

I don’t think one of us has tried to reach Laura Miller in some time, but I’m assuming she still won’t return our calls. Close as we can get is this official statement, just released from her office:

“I’m extremely pleased for North Texas that we have been chosen to host the Super Bowl. It will bring enormous economic benefits to our region — not to mention be a point of pride and a whole lot of fun.”

Here’s the translation:

“[expletive deleted] Okay. Eight homes game and one lousy Super Ball. Whatever. Jerry [expletives deleted] Jones.”
