Judge Shannon Wynne, one tough cookie, walked in the front door of the Milestone Culinary Arts Center last night and said, “This event had better not suck.” He looked around the then empty room and started rearranging the whole event. “You don’t have enough bar tenders; you don’t have enough passers [of food]; you are not going to pull this off.” An hour and a half later, I passed SW in the hall and he was smiling. “I’m having a great time,” he said. “This is really fun.”

So, Dallas, at least those of you who missed last night’s Stainless Steel Chef Competition, mark your calendars for next year. If we satisfied crusty old Wynne, we will dazzle you!
