From a FBvian who was in attendance last night:
Swellish time at the DMA last night at the Ken Burns speech, but what on earth is the matter with Gary Cogill? The speech part of the evening ran way long; they didn’t seat people to dinner until just before nine, which is crazy. Gary, who emceed, didn’t help with his long, Bataan death march of an introduction of Ken Burns. The message was pretty much, “Me, me, me, me, me, me. Me! But enough about me, let’s talk about the god-like Ken Burns and me.”
