A FrontBurnervian with his hackles raised has this to say about the illustrious alumni of St. Mark’s:
I wonder why Highland Park and St.Mark’s keep trying to claim Woodrow alums. Steve Miller did attend St. Mark’s earlier, but he graduated from Woodrow, Class of 1961. He lived on Southridge in Lakewood in those days (next to a friend of mine) and he supplied his address and phone number to the latest Woodrow Wilson Alumni Directory, Bernard C. Harris Publishing.
Steve has been known to ask, “Are there any Woodrow Wilson Wildcats out there?” at concerts–notably at the Cotton Bowl, where scattered screams all over the stadium rang out…
He hasn’t gone in the Woodrow Hall of Fame yet, we have so many famous alums we have a hard time getting caught up–so perhaps he’s miffed he could only get an award from St. Mark’s.
