In 1987, we published an article by two young reporters named Eric Miller and Skip Hollandsworth about a woman named Sandra Bridewell, a society fixture who was suspected of dastardly deeds, including the murder of a Highland Park woman who was found in the trunk of her car at Love Field. The case was never solved. This week the Observer reported that Bridewell was the subject of a police sting in North Carolina for fraud and may be extradicted to Oklahoma to answer questions about the murder of her third husband.
