BAD NEWS FOR BREAKER

|

Police in Beverly Hills have concluded that Richardson native Lane Garrison had cocaine and more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system when he crashed his SUV into a tree on Dec. 2, killing a 17-year-old passenger and injuring two other 15-year-olds who were in the car. Garrison, who played Tweener on Prison Break, had a blood alcohol level of 0.20 the night of the accident. The limit in California is 0.08.

The case is now being reviewed by the LA District Attorney’s office, which will decide if Garrison should be charged with gross vehicular manslaughter and contributing to the delinquency of a minor (he reportedly provided alcohol to his underage passengers). The manslaughter charge could carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
