SHAME, SHAME, SHAME

Our receptionist, the ever-friendly, statuesque Alexis, was the victim of a hit-and-run over her lunch break. Nothing major, mind you. She was inside the Cafe Express on McKinney when it happened. A witness to the heinous crime in the parking lot was kind enough to take down the license plate number of the offender, who drove off after scraping a significant amount of paint off Alexis’ car.

You know what you don’t want to do? Hit-and-run on a car owned by a receptionist at D Magazine, a sometimes news-gathering organization with access to certain data.

The offending car, a 2003 Toyota Sequoia, is registered to John Keath Patterson, of Dallas. Mr. Patterson, I’m sure it was just an oversight. You probably didn’t even notice that you hit Alexis’ car. You can call her at the front desk: 214-939-3636.
