If you submit water violations through their web site, you can track the progress of the investigation. My apartment complex readjusted the sprinklers so that they flooded my patio every night. Management wouldn’t fix it after several requests. After a little 3-1-1 action, they got fined $300, fixed the sprinklers, and have become remarkably responsive to all of my maintenance requests.
