Tim and I have both previously joined the fan club for John Wiley Price’s Thursday morning “Liberation Nation” call-in talk show, 8-9 a.m., on KNON (89.3), and for reasons like today’s all-over-the-map session. The Commissioner and guests wrangled and rolled on topics from intrusive government eavesdropping in the guise of homeland security to the strategy of an “asymmetrical war” such as in Lebanon, to good old baggy pants.
The Commish and guests had nothing good to say about the proposal by liar-to-schoolchildren school board trustee Ron Price to outlaw pants being worn too low. In part, some of the guests said, because of the likelihood of subjective enforcement. Ron Price, Commish Price observed, is one of those folks who become a “60-minute hero and a lifetime fool.”
